It’s February, and just as we thought we’d got away without any proper winter weather, it’s arrived. Temperatures have plummeted and we’ve all had to dig out our winter woollies. Whilst we were in Morocco, photographing our new Spring/Summer 2012 Catalogue, I took the opportunity to make a video for our website too.

Not only does the video give a sneek preview of our 2012 collection, but it gave me the opportunity to give a little background information on how Box 2 orginally came about and its organic growth since inception.

'We will make you look fabulous and feel fabulous' has always been our mantra. Getting feedback from our customers is fantastic and, together with inspirational designers, helps me put together a collection that I truly believe you will love. I can't wait to share our new collection with you.

In the meantime our 50% sale, on selected items, continues with some fantastic bargains still to be had (That's Me grey cable poncho is a great buy and really popular as is the Kasbah taupe boiled wool coat. Amazingly we still have a few Kristen Krog check coats available, a gorgeous addition to any wardrobe).

We are welcoming in the New Year with a continuation of our sale, with 50% off selected items.

Now is the time to pick up some excellent bargains. In 2012, big prints, bold colours and faux fur are all here to stay. On that basis our Kasbah leopard chiffon jacket will be a hit again this summer and is now reduced to only £50.00. At this time of year we start reflecting on the previous year and start planning for an even better new year.

2011 has been fantastic, with introduction of great new designers (our sale is now on, so I hope you find some amazing bargains) and I cannot wait to share our new collections for next year with you.

When you're a child, snow is the best weather in the world....sledging, snowball fights, snowmen...endless fun that only stops when your hands and feet become so cold the risk of frostbite becomes a reality.

As you get older, snow still holds a magical quality......for about five minutes before reality kicks in. You still have shopping to do, presents to deliver, dogs to walk, which now become treacherous chores in the ice and cold.

At Box 2 we can't control the weather but we can offer some comfort and warmth in the form of wonderful winter coats and jackets.

The Plus khaki padded collar mac  is the season's must have.....perfect for shopping and will withstand the occassional snowball fight (you're never too old really).

In the run up to Christmas, here are some interesting statistics to ponder.

• According to recent research, by the London Sanctuary Spa, shoppers will walk an average of 30 miles around stores buying Christmas presents.
• Other research concludes shoppers spend an hour and a half queueing to pay for goods.
• One in three men will wait until Christmas Eve to finish their shopping (huge surprise).
• We will spend 2hrs 27 minutes wrapping all those wonderful presents (slightly longer if imbibing alcahol at the same time).

Great for jazzing up casual attire or adding some pizzazz to an evening outfit, jewellery is the ultimate accessory.
